Land Clearing Questions
What is the difference between land clearing and bush hogging?
Bush hogging mows what is above ground and leaves roots. Land clearing removes underbrush, palmetto, stumps and trees with a skid steer so the ground is open for building, fencing or pasture.
Can you clear just the underbrush and keep the big trees?
Yes. Selective clearing of palmetto and underbrush while leaving mature oaks and pines is common on Dunnellon lots.
Do you clear fence lines?
Yes. Fence-line clearing with the skid steer or the bush hog is a regular service for farms and acreage.
Do I need a permit to clear my lot?
That depends on the parcel and what is being removed. Check with Marion County or Citrus County before we start.
Do you work outside Dunnellon?
Yes. We serve Ocala and Marion County, Citrus County, and Williston, Bronson, Chiefland and the rest of Levy County. Call 352-445-6975 for a free quote.
