Bush Hogging Questions
What is bush hogging?
Mowing tall grass, weeds and brush with a heavy rotary cutter pulled behind a tractor. It is built for acreage, not lawns.
How large a property can you handle?
Our batwing cutter is 15 feet wide, so it suits open fields and acreage. Small lots with tight access may be better served by our skid steer or commercial mowers.
Can you cut palmetto and scrub?
A rotary cutter knocks down palmetto fronds, scrub and small saplings. Removing palmetto roots and larger trees is land clearing work, which we also offer.
Do you bush hog in Levy County?
Yes. Williston, Morriston, Bronson and Chiefland are inside our regular service area.
How often should a pasture be bush hogged?
It depends on use and the season. Many owners schedule regular cuts through the rainy season and fewer in winter. Call 352-445-6975 and we will recommend a schedule.
